Caro’s patient app for surgery patients:
- Empowers them to self-manage their care with conversational guidance
- Tells them what they need to know, when they need to know it

- Gives them a communication channel (chat and video) for when they have questions that can’t be answered in the app
Caro’s real-time patient dashboard for healthcare professionals:
- Captures rich survey and other information about the patient
- Shows day-by-day information on how the patient is recovering
- Collects all communication (digital brochure, chat, and video calls) with the patient in one place
The Caro platform
The Caro platform comprises hybrid native (Ionic / Angular) and web (Angular material) clients, communicating over web sockets to a serverless (Lambda) back-end, running on managed (AWS CloudFormation) infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to join a green fields project with close to zero technical debt, built with the best modern patterns and technologies, delivering real value to end users.
Responsibilities
- Work with sales, customer success, and customers, to ensure the Caro platform is delivering the most possible value
- Spec, implement, test, and release new features on the Caro platform
- Do regular risk reviews and other compliance related tasks
- Communicate new developments to the wider team
